The paper "International Human Resource Management as a Process" is a brilliant example of a term paper on human resources. Human Resource Management is a process whereby people are employed in different International organizations that have their links and perform their activities across the world. Processes of procuring, allocating, and appropriate utilizing human resources in multinational corporations are enhanced through international human resource management (IHRM). This is done by working across national borders and the existence of multinational corporations under a wider contextual setting in that case. Many challenges based on global international human resource management practices have emerged. The challenges have majorly affected the most important aspects such as recruitment, selection and placement, performance management, pay and reward services, and culture (Afiouni, Ruel & Schuler 2014). When looking at challenges of recruitment and retention of new employees, many businesses, through human resources departments, find it difficult to perform their duties internationally. Many human resources departments have experienced challenges in hiring managers and doing other personnel recruitment. In most cases, the person in charge of designing job descriptions faces challenges about who to hire and who not to. He or she put a little effort into making a good final decision in order to find the most appropriate qualified personnel. He or she usually fails to pick out a person who has good personal characteristics. He or she rather prefers a person with professional competence without using effective interview techniques (Karaki 2014).

International human resource management through recruitment of employees has ever since had a challenge of hiring candidates with good standard qualities. Many international businesses, through the human resources department, do not clearly have hiring and recruitment strategies. They simply look for a new employee when there is a vacancy. They make it more difficult to recruit employees who are qualified when there is a vacancy hence reducing their access to the job pool of the business for high and quality productivity.
